Lowrie Doubles Up, Then Gives Some Back to Christner

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

According to the table, Zackery Lowrie had just doubled up after flopping a set of nines against ace-king on a {a-}{k-}{9-} board to climb above 130,000, but he would immediately lose a big portion of those new chips in a pot against Christian Christner.

Lowrie bet 3,400 on the turn from the big blind with the board showing {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Christian Christner called on the button. The river came the {10-Hearts} and Lowrie slowed down and checked.

Christner threw out a bet of 14,000 and Lowrie went into the tank before eventually calling. Christner showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for two pair, queens and fives, as Lowrie mucked.
