Heidorn Runs Into Spitzberg's Kings
Level 2
: 200/300, 300 ante
Tian Zhao Jiang had a raise of 4,800 in front of him before Paul Spitzberg reraised to 17,000. Robert Heidorn then moved all in for 19,500 and Jiang got out of the way after a brief tank. Spitzberg, though, called the extra amount and flipped over .
Heidorn had and the flop gave both players something, Spitzberg top set and Heidorn straight and flush draws. The board ran out and Heidorn missed everything to hit the rail, while Spitzberg is now in contention for the tournament chip lead.
After the hand, Jiang claimed he folded pocket queens.
"Paul is rocking out right now," a tablemate said.
