Farkas Makes Two Pair

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

The heads-up action was picked up on the river with a board of {10-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} on the felt and about 8,600 in the pot.

The small blind checked over to Jason Farkas on the button. He fired for 3,500. After a minute or so of thought, his opponent tossed in the call. Farkas turned over {10-Hearts}{q-Spades}, good for two pair on the turn. The small blind then tossed his cards towards the muck as Farkas scooped the pot, worth over 15,000.
