Rees Keeps Firing

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

David Rees was in the big blind and called a preflop raise from an opponent on the button as they went heads-up to a {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop.

Rees checked over to his opponent who threw out 1,000 before Rees raised to 2,000. The button called, then called another bet by Rees of 2,700 on the {10-Spades} turn.

The river came the {5-Hearts} and Rees fired out another 6,000. His opponent shot a quick glance over at him before flicking in the call. Rees showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for the turned straight and his opponent mucked.
