Jesse Capps Eliminated in 3rd Place ($85,040)

Level 37 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Jesse Capps
Jesse Capps

Jesse Capps moved all in from under the gun and Jesse Lonis snap called on the button.

Jesse Lonis: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jesse Capps: {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Lonis, though at risk, was ahead and extended his lead on the {3-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop. The {10-Clubs} turn did keep Capps drawing live but the {j-Clubs} river bricked out to leave him with just 575,000.

A few hands later Jaspal Brar moved all in on the button and Capps called off out of the small blind.

Jesse Capps: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Jaspal Brar: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Capps had his opponent dominated and was in a good spot to score the double. It was not to be, however, after the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{4-Hearts} to send Capps to the rail in 3rd place.
