Kolev Back From the Dead, Sullivan Now Short Stack

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

After doubling once from his 200,000 stack, Boris Kolev called Jesse Lonis' all-in bet from the button for 625,000. Then, after much deliberation and checking the pay jumps, Ronald Sullivan went all in as well for 750,000.

Boris Kolev: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Ronald Sullivan: {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Jesse Lonis: {q-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Kolev had the best hand going in, and the {8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop gave him more hope with a flush draw.

The turn {10-Spades} paired Sullivan to give him the lead, but the {4-Diamonds} fell on the river to give Kolev a triple-up and send his rail into jubilation, while Sullivan was now left with crumbs despite winning the side pot.
