Paur Doubles Through Plante

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jerry Wong raised to 12,000 in the hijack and was called by Taylor Paur in the cutoff and Santiago Plante in the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and the action checked around to the {q-Hearts} on the turn.

Paur was the first player to take a stab at the pot with a bet of 16,000 on the turn. Plante called and Wong stepped aside. The river was the {3-Spades} and Plante checked again. Paur counted out a bet of 42,000 and Plante check-raised all in. Paur wasted little time before calling off his stack of 129,000. Plante showed {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} but Paur revealed the {10-Spades}{9-Spades} for a flush to double up.

Meanwhile, at another table, Pavel Plesuv was seen collecting a double up from Chino Rheem after making a set of eights. Plesuv doubled up to over 1,000,000, the first player in the tournament to reach seven figures.
