Mermelstein Doubles, Rabichow on Crumbs

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

After a couple of preflop raises, Aaron Mermelstein and Kevin Rabichow got all of their chips in the middle with nearly identical chip stacks. Rabichow had Mermelstein covered by just 3,000 chips and they were in a classic coin flip.

Aaron Mermelstein: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Kevin Rabichow: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop came {a-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and Mermelstein took the lead with a pair of aces. The {10-Clubs}, {a-Diamonds} runout provided no help to Rabichow who sent over a double up.
