Hall Takes One Off Rast

Level 20 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Brian Rast opened to 300,000 on the button and was called by Galen Hall out of the big blind.

Hall checked to the preflop raiser on the {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} flop and then called when Rast continued for 275,000.

The board pairing {j-Diamonds} turn saw Hall check for a second time. Rast did not choose to slow down, instead firing off 800,000. Hall once again called.

Both players checked through the {6-Clubs} river and Hall showed down {k-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, which was good enough to take down the sizable pot.
