Peters All But Shoves

Level 6 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Jason Koon opened to 11,000 from under the gun and was called by Aleksejs Ponakovs in the cutoff as well as David Peters out of the big blind.

All three players checked through the {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop to see the {9-Clubs} turn. Peters then led out for 10,000, getting a fold from Koon but a call from Ponakovs.

Peters pushed 36,000 into the middle on the {5-Diamonds} river, leaving himself just 1,000 behind. After some thought, Ponakovs folded to send some chips the still short stacked Peters' way.
