Lehr Makes the Right Call

Level 4 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Keith Lehr
Keith Lehr

Action picked up on the turn with a pot of about 130,000. The board read {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Keith Lehr checked from the small blind to his sole opponent, Brock Wilson in middle position. Wilson decided to check behind and go to the river.

The {j-Hearts} made things interesting, the front door flush draw came in and a one-liner to a straight did as well.

Lehr checked again, and Wilson slid all of his chips except a single 500 chip into the pot.

Lehr went deep into the tank. He had Wilson covered, but the bet represented about 80 percent of his own stack. After about 3 minutes, Lehr made the call.

Wilson flipped the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, but Lehr had the {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for the rivered straight to collect the pot.
