Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
David Miscikowski
David Miscikowski

Preflop action had Axel Hallay in the small blind limping in and David Miscikowski, in the big blind, checking his option. The dealer fanned {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} onto the felt and Hallay bet 150,000 which Miscikowski then called.

A {2-Spades} came on the turn and Hallay fired out a bet of 525,000, once again receiving a call from Miscikowski.

On the {3-Clubs} river, Hallay moved all in for 2,625,000, covering Miscikowski's stack. After spending some time in the tank Miscikowski tossed some chips in to call and cards were up.

David Miscikowski: {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Axel Hallay: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Both of the blinds ended up with a pair of queens but in the end, Hallay's ten kicker came in to play and he took down the massive pot. Miscikowski, the chip leader heading in to Day 3 was eliminated from the tournament in thirteenth place.

Nicolas Vayssieres Eliminated in 14th Place ($20,585)

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Nicholas Vayssieres
Nicholas Vayssieres

Nicolas Vayssieres raised to 1,700,000 from the hijack, leaving 125,000 behind.

Ran Koller then jammed from the cutoff before Brian Keith Etheridge called off his 2,800,000 stack from the button.

Vayssieres reluctantly put in the rest of his chips.

Nicolas Vayssieres: {a-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Brian Keith Etheridge: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Ran Koller: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

It was a dream spot for Etheridge as he was the favourite to almost triple up as well as securing an elimination. That's exactly what happened as the board ran out with the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

Plante Flops a Flush to Double

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Santiago Plante
Santiago Plante

Leandro Vlastaris opened to 250,000 from early position with action folding back to Santiago Plante, who was in the big blind. He had 480,000 total in his stack and went into the tank.

There was a raise and an all in from the other table as Jonathan Zarin shipped in his stack after Brian Keith Etheridge. Etheridge was mulling over his options. Plante was waiting for that hand to be played out before deciding what to do.

Back on Plante's table, Axel Hallay called the clock and Plante called so his hand would not be ruled dead. Etheridge had yet to make his decision.

The dealer fanned the {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop, and with Etheridge opting to fold, Plante and Vlastaris got their chips in the middle. Plante flopped a flush with his {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Vlastaris had the {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and he sent them into the muck after the {3-Hearts} turn and {k-Clubs} river.

Dave Stefanski Eliminated in 15th Place ($20,585)

Level 29 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Dave Stefanski
Dave Stefanski

Leandro Vlastaris was on a roll after just getting a double up of his 2,175,000 stack in the previous hand against David Miscikowski. Vlastaris called with top pair on the flop when Miscikowski pushed all in with a nut flush draw that didn't hit.

Going for two in a row, Vlastaris raised on his button to 250,000 and Dave Stefanski shoved all in from the small blind for 2,920,000. Vlastaris snap called and the cards were on their backs.

Dave Stefanski: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Leandro Vlastaris: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board came down {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and the pair of fives Stefanski ended up with was no match for Vlastaris' pocket tens and he was sent to the rail in fifteenth place. Vlastaris' stack went from just over two million to eight million in these two hands.

Julien Loire opened the action before Kenny Hallaert moved in with his short stack. Loire called.

Kenny Haellart: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Julien Loire: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The {j-Diamonds} was in the window and was accompanied with the {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} to put Loire ahead of the pocket kings. The Frenchman then made quads on the {j-Clubs} turn to lock up the hand. The {7-Diamonds} river completed the board and Hallaert bowed out in 16th place.
