Negreanu Doubles Up

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Six players limped to see the flop of {q-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The big blind led out with a pot sized bet of 28,000. After three players folded, action landed on Daniel Negreanu on the button. The six time bracelet winner reached for his vlogging equipment, which elicited a litany of responses from around the table and the rail.

"You know what that means," Negreanu told the table, before shifting attention to talking to his vlog. "This crazy guy has been betting pot on every flop, and this is close to the money, but we're gonna gamble," as he moved all in for his remaining 42,000 chips. The big blind called, and it was time to showdown.

Big blind: {3-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Negreanu, with a pair of fives, was behind to his opponent's pair of queens. The {a-Clubs} turn improved Negreanu to two pair before the {7-Diamonds} river hit the board, changing nothing.

"This is my 'solver stick'," Negreanu said in reference to the selfie stick which holds his phone to record his blogs. "One time Scott Seiver was trying to bluff me. I reached for this and he went 'Has he ever done that and not gone all in?'"

Negreanu capture the pot for his stack, and the hand for his vlog.
