Great Call, Unlucky River

Level 9 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Nader Arfai led out for 18,000, but then his opponent Yehuda Buchalter ripped it all in for 45,000, which sent Arfai into the tank.

"You're not worried I have pocket fives?" Arfai inquired.

Buchalter peeked at his cards and replied, "Nope".

After a few more moments, Arfai pushed his chips into the middle to call, putting Buchalter at risk as they tabled their hands.

Yehuda Buchalter: {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Nader Arfai: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

It seemed Arfai had made the correct call, and the turn {j-Spades} improved him to top set, but the river was cruel and delivered the {8-Hearts} to give Buchalter the flush he was chasing.

Arfai was left with only 600 chips as Buchalter climbed to 105,000.
