With most of the hand retold to PokerNews, the action started with a player in early position raising to 45,000. Allen Kessler shoved 400,000 into the pot and James Meadows re-shoved his 600,000 stack. Everyone else folded and they were left heads up.

James Meadows: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Allen Kessler: {a-}{k-}

"There was even an ace in the window!" Kessler announced about the flop come-out.

That flop gave Meadows a set with {a-}{q-}{10-} and the {5-}{5-} on the turn and river did nothing to help improve Kessler's hand.
