Deeb and Oxman Toe to Toe Again

Level 14
Shaun Deeb and Ari Oxman
Shaun Deeb and Ari Oxman

Big O

Shaun Deeb's table recently broke and in a perfect twist of fate, he was re-seated next to Ari Oxman.

Deeb opened a recent pot to 3,000 in early position and was called by Oxman to his immediate left, setting up a potential showdown between the prop-betting pals.

Thomas Hunt then threw a potential wrench in their showdown with an all-in three-bet to 13,500 on the button.

With action back on Deeb, he four-bet for the size of the pot, and Oxman chose to fold to preserve his stack (and potentially his $500).

Deeb was then heads-up against Hunt who was at risk.

Thomas Hunt: [ac{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs} giving Deeb the nut low and Hunt the high half of the pot with his jacks and fours.
