Filippi Shows a Set

Level 36 : 250,000/500,000, 0 ante

Matt Vengrin raised preflop and Amnon Filippi called to see the {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop. Filippi checked over to Vengrin, who continued with a bet and Filippi again called.

Filippi checked for the second time on the {k-Hearts} turn and called a bet. Both players checked down the {8-Spades} river.

Vengrin announced he had two pair but Filippi turned over {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped set to win the pot. With those new chips, Filippi has retaken the tournament lead.
