On Sunday, the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) continued with Day 3 action from Event #7: $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better. The day began with 26 players from a massive 1,087-player field with the plan of playing down to a winner. However, after 12.5 hours of play, two players still remained in contention and will return for an impromptu Day 4.

Longtime poker pro Amnon Filippi is the favorite to win holding the chip lead with 19,525,000. However, another poker pro, Matt Vengrin, looks to stand in his way and has a decent enough shot with 7.7 million. The two played heads-up for the better part of the last level until the floor called a hard stop and instructed them to bag up and resume at 3 p.m. local time on Monday.

One of those players will walk away with their first WSOP gold bracelet and a $252,718 top prize.
