Vengrin Collects Half of Multi-Way Pot

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

Matt Vengrin was in the cutoff against the button and the big blind with around 3,500 in the pot.

The flop came down {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and big blind bet, receiving a call from Vengrin and the button.

An {8-Hearts} came on the turn and big blind led out again with a bet to which Vengrin called and the button followed.

The river showed a {3-Hearts} and the big blind checked. Vengrin bet, the button folded and the big blind called. Cards went up and Vengrin claimed the low half of the pot with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}. The big blind took the high half with {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} for a jack-high straight.
