Hellmuth Ramps Up the Aggression

Level 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth raised to 550,000 from the cutoff and Jeffrey Lo defended the big blind. The flop came {3-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Hellmuth took down the pot with a 600,000 bet.

"Are you from London?" Hellmuth asked Lo after the hand.

"Hong Kong," Lo replied.

"You play good," Hellmuth continued.

Hellmuth won the next pot with a preflop raise of 700,000, showing {a-}{k-}, before he limped in and went heads up with David Jackson. The flop came {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and a bet by Hellmuth was enough to get Jackson to fold.
