Brewer Spikes River to Survive

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Julien Martini opened to 60,000 from the under the gun, Anthony Uhlir shoved for 305,000 in the hijack, Jacob Perry got his chips in from the small blind for more, Chad Brewer got his chips in from the big blind, and Martini got out of the way.

Anthony Uhlir: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Chad Brewer: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Jacob Perry: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop kept Perry ahead to the {3-Spades} turn, but the {k-Diamonds} spiked the river as Brewer gave a clap of his hands at the sight of the fortunate card to keep his tournament life alive and eliminate Uhlir.

Perry had Brewer slightly covered, but was left with less than two big blinds and was seen making his exit shortly after.
