Li Cracks Aces

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 8,000 and acition folded around to Victor Li in the small blind, who defended, and the heads-up players went to a flop of {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Li checked to his opponent, who then bet 12,000 and Li called.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Li checked once again to the raiser, who then bet 12,000, only leaving ~16,000 behind. Li decided to rip it all-in for the rest of it, his opponent snap-called and tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, while Li turned over his {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

Li was way behind until the river gifted him with the {k-Spades}, which gave him trip kings to defeat his opponents aces, much to their owner's disbelief. Li was granted a big double up while his opponent was eliminated from the tournament.
