Sharma Busts One, Wins Big Side Pot

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Michael Sandoval raised to 140,000 preflop from early position, leaving himself with about 100,000 behind. From the small blind, Nishant Sharma bet pot and raised it up to 480,000. Guillaume Soumier called the raise from the big blind and Sandoval committed his last chips as well.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Nishant Sharma announced "pot," which meant an all-in bet with his remaining 990,000 chips. Soumier called fairly quickly to go to a three-way runout.

Michael Sandoval: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Guillaume Soumier: {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Nishant Sharma: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

Sharma had flopped top set, but both of his opponents had clubs, and Soumier also had an open-ender.

The {7-Hearts} on the turn ended all of that drama by giving Sharma the full house immediately. The {q-Diamonds} river made it official and Sharma scooped the large pot.
