Up and Down for Winter

Level 16 : 0/0, 6,000 ante

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Sean Winter made a small bet of 27,000 in position. Scott Smile called and the {j-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn. Smile check-called another bet of 27,000 from Winter and the {8-Hearts} completed the board.

Both players checked and Smile turned over {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for jacks and sevens. Winter tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for jacks and eights and raked in the pot.

On the next hand, Winter raised to 60,000 in the hijack after a couple of limpers. Brian Rast called on the button and the limpers folded. The flop fell {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Winter checked to Rast who bet 90,000. Winter folded but questioned Rast on his holding.

"Ace-jack suited?" That's an ace-jack range right there."
