Rabichow Flushes Out Ivey

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey opened to 10,000 on the button and Kevin Rabichow made it 36,000 in the big blind. Ivey called and the dealer fanned the flop of {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Both players checked and the {8-Clubs} landed on the turn.

Rabichow led out with a bet of 27,000 and Ivey stuck around to see the {9-Spades} on the river. Rabichow checked this time and Ivey splashed in a bet of 75,000. Rabichow check-raised all in, putting Ivey to the test for his remaining 300,000 chips.

Ivey leaned back in his chair and tried to study his opponent for nearly seven minutes. Eventually a muttered "call" came out of Ivey's mouth and Rabichow turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a flush. Ivey took his cards and mixed them in with the muck as he headed for the exit.
