Stanford and Kennedy Double Up

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

William Stanford raised to 7,000 on the button and Dario Sammartino made it 30,000 in the big blind. Stanford responded with a four-bet to 87,000 and Sammartino five-bet shoved all in. Stanford quickly called off his stack of 418,500 and the cards were tabled.

William Stanford: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Dario Sammartino: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Stanford held to double up through Sammartino.

At the same table, Patrick Kennedy had shoved all in for 464,000 on a completed board of {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} with only 130,000 in the middle. Chance Kornuth dipped into the tank after setting aside the allotted calling chips. After a few minutes passed, Kornuth finally made the call and Kennedy turned over {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} for the nuts to also double up.
