Brandt Takes Chip Lead

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Lawrence Brandt raised to 250,000 under the-gun and was called by Richard Crooks in the big blind.

The flop came out {6-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and Crooks check-called a bet of 300,000 from Brandt.

The turn of {q-Hearts} checked through to the {j-Hearts} river that saw Crooks lead out for 600,000. After some time Brandt called and Crooks said "nice hand," as Brandt turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts} for a broadway straight which was good to take the chip lead.
