"Never Leave Home Without One"

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Lyle Berman
Lyle Berman

2-7 Triple Draw

During the deal, the {q-Spades} was exposed. "Something bad usually happens when that happens," said Yuval Bronshtein.

"It's ok," said Joao Vieira, whose card it was supposed to be, "I didn't want it anyway."

Lyle Berman raised and Albert Daher defended his big blind. Daher drew three and Berman drew two. Daher then check-called a bet.

Daher drew three again and Berman drew one. Again Daher check-called a bet. Daher drew one and Berman stood pat. Daher bet and Berman called.

Daher announced a nine-six but Berman had it beat with {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}

"I had three twos. I started {7-}{7-}{2-}{2-} and picked up another one!" said Daher.

"I started with a deuce," replied Berman. "Never leave home without one!"
