Team Hendee Takes it Down

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

After a raise preflop, Paul Hendee of team Hendee was heads up against his opponent on the button on a {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop. Hendee checked, then called a bet of 1,000.

On the turn {10-Clubs}, Hendee checked to his opponent, who bet again, this time for 2,100. Hendee then check-raised to 7,000, which produced an eventual fold from his adversary.

"Show the bluff!" Someone yelled, and Hendee then slapped over {8-Spades}{9-Spades} for a whopping 9- high.

"Don't try to raise me with garbage, buddy boy!" Hendee announced as he scooped in the pot- a nice present for the birthday boy.
