Simao Keeps Climbing

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Ryan Riess started the action in the hijack with a raise to 85,000 and picked up calls from Joao Simao on the button and Brian Rast in the big blind.

The trio saw a flop {10-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Rast checked to Riess who continued for 85,000. Simao called and so did Rast. On the {5-Clubs} turn, Rast opted to lead out for 350,000 and Riess snap-folded. Simao tanked a minute and made the call.

The {9-Clubs} came on the river and this time Rast checked. Simao sent 225,000 in the middle, sending Rast deep into the tank. Rast ending up folding his hand after the clock has been called on him and Simao added another pot to his stack.
