Today begins Event #53: $5,000 Mixed No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha (8-handed) at Bally's and Paris in Las Vegas. This prestigious event sees the best no-limit hold’em players and pot-limit omaha players alike come out to take their shot at WSOP glory and this year is expected to be bigger than last year.

In 2021, it was Finnish pro Eelis Parssinen who took down the bracelet at a stacked final table that included the likes of Niklas Astedt and David Prociak. A total of 579 players entered this tournament last year and Parssinen took home $545,616 for his victory, as well as his first bracelet.
