Drobes Pots And Survives

Level 11 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Pot Limit Omaha

First to act, Jose-Paz Gutierrez raised to 20,000 and almost everybody called: Daniel Weinman, Travis Pearson in late position, Scott Drobes in the small blind and Patrick Leonard in the big blind.

On a {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Weinman bet 10,000, and only Pearson and Drobes called.

The turn {8-Diamonds} was bet by Drobes. He announced "pot". Weinman considered it, but when he realized it was almost for all of Drobes stack, he folded. So did Pearson.

Drobes was pretty happy and showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the nut flush. "And yes, I also had aces in my hand," said Drobes.

On this table Kane Kalas busted few minutes ago, confirmed by Travis Pearson.
