Scott Bohlman Eliminated in 8th Place ($16,929)

Level 26
Scott Bohlman
Scott Bohlman

Scott Bohlman: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
David Bach: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Nick Guagenti: {2-Spades} - folded bring-in

On the last hand before dinner break, a short-stacked Scott Bohlman raised showing the {9-Spades}. David Bach then made it two bets to go with the {a-Spades}. Nick Guagenti folded his bring-in and Bohlman called with just a couple of bets left.

On fourth street, Bach picked up the {j-Diamonds} and bet. Bohlman called, picking up the {j-Clubs}.

Bohlman's last bet went in on fifth with the {3-Clubs} while Bach picked up the {5-Spades}. The rest of the cards were then revealed and moved around in front of the players.

Bohlman needed to improve split nines, while Bach showed buried kings in the hole.

Nothing changed on sixth street, and on seventh Bach made a second pair with fives and Bohlman needed an ace or a nine.

He squeezed a no-sider, but then flipped over the {2-Diamonds}, ending his run in 8th place.

With seven players now remaining, a redraw for the final table will take place at the completion of dinner break.

Guagenti Puts Bohlman Back on the Short Stack

Level 26
Nick Guagenti
Nick Guagenti

No-Limit Hold'em

Nick Guagenti raised on the button and was called by Scott Bohlman in the big blind.

On the {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, the players each checked.

The turn put four to a straight on the board in the form of the {9-Spades}.

Bohlman put out a bet of 40,000 and was raised to 200,000 by Guagenti. Bohlman called to see a river.

That river came an innocuous {2-Spades} and both players opted to check.

Bohlman showed {j-Spades}{9-Hearts} for top pair, but Guagenti showed {k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} for the low end of a straight to take the pot and bring Bohlman back down to 500,000 chips.

Akkari Chopped up by Bohlman and Guagenti

Level 26

Seven Card Stud 8 or Better

Nick Guagenti: {2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{k-Clubs}/{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Scott Bohlman: {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}/{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Andre Akkari: {8-Spades}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades}/{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{x-}

With approximately 400,000 already in the pot on fifth street as the big bet rounds began, Andre Akkari checked to Scott Bohlman who bet, showing a three-card low straight flush. Nick Guagenti then raised showing three to a low. After some deliberation, Akkari called with two hearts and two low cards. Bohlman also called and a huge pot was brewing.

On sixth street, action slowed down with all three players checking.

But on seventh, after Akkari checked, Bohlman bet again and was called by Guagenti. Akkari took his time before deciding to fold, showing {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, then tossing them to the muck.

Bohlman showed an eight-six for low, with no flush, despite his four up cards being spades.

Guagenti took the high half of the pot with trip sevens, as Akkari was left in the cold in this over 1,000,000 chip pot.

Kijoon Park made it to 80,000 from the button and Michael Chow raised to 290,000. Taylor Paur called and Park folded.

Paur Now Pouring it on, Ryynanen Getting Short

Level 25

Pot-Limit Omaha

After spending part of the day as the short stack, Taylor Paur has successfully rebuilt his stack and is now pushing the two million chip mark.

In a recent hand, Paur limped from the small blind after Sampo Ryynanen limped from the button. Phil Long checked the big blind and the trio saw a flop.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and action was checked to Ryynanen, who bet 60,000. Paur was the only caller before the {8-Spades} was dealt on the turn.

Ryynanen fired another 80,000 after Paur checked, and Paur then called again.

On the {4-Clubs} river, Paur checked again, but Ryynanen dodged Paur's trap by checking.

Paur showed {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} for a full house to take down the pot and put Ryynanen on the short stack.
