One Outer For Reeves on Sick Runout

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A loud reaction from a table caught the attention of PokerNews and it was definitely warranted.

Josh Reeves had a player at risk with most of his chips in the middle.

All-in Player: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Josh Reeves: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

Reeves was way in rough shape against the overpair, but he hit a set on the {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop.

The tables turned when the {q-Spades} spiked on the turn his opponent made a better set.

It wasn't over however as the last eight in the deck {8-Clubs} fell on the river to give Reeves quads as the table looked on in disgust.

Tan Eliminates Opponent

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A player moved all in from middle position and the cutoff raised to 100,000. Johnny Tan moved all in from the small blind for 331,000. The cutoff went into the tank before folding.

Middle Position: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Johnny Tan: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The dealer forgot to burn a card and floor was called. After some commotion the flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs}. The turn came the {9-Spades} giving the at risk player an open-ended-straight-draw. However it didn't come in as the {10-Clubs} river ensured that Tan won the hand and eliminated his opponent.
