Set Over Set Sends Kyte to the Ground

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jon Kyte raised to 450,000 from early position, leaving himself one red 5,000 chip behind. The player to his left called before Andy Su re-raised all for around 1,400,000.

Before Kyte could act, the other opponent called Su's shove without realizing Kyte had a chip remaining. Kyte went into the tank for about a minute before the clock was called. He eventually threw in his last chip to create a three-way all in.

Jon Kyte: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Andy Su: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The {5-Clubs} came in the window to give Kyte a set, but it was followed by the {3-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} to give Su a higher set.

"Yes," Su yelled when he saw the set-over-set situation. The board ran out {10-Spades}{4-Spades} and Su doubled up while eliminating Kyte.

A few hands earlier, Kyte had lost a massive race against Bryan Posada with {a-}{j-} to {10-}{10-} to see most of his once-large stack disappear.
