Oya Takes Big Pot With River Bet

Level 1 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was heads up with a big pot of over 650,000 in the middle and a full board of {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. Masashi Oya had bet 625,000 and Michael Addamo was in the tank. After a few moments of consideration, Addamo got away from it and Oya took the pot without showing.

On the next table over, David Einhorn raised to 10,000 from the button and Phil Ivey called from the small blind before Ben Heath came along from the big blind. The flop was {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and both Ivey and Heath checked. Einhorn continued for 15,000 and Ivey folded before Heath called. Both players checked the {k-Hearts} turn and Heath check-folded when Einhorn bet 15,000 on the river.

Elsewhere in the room, Alex Foxen and Adrian Mateos have joined the tournament.
