Uceda Extends His Lead

Level 36 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Daniel Uceda
Daniel Uceda

Action was picked up on the turn in a heads-up pot of roughly 10,000,000 on a board of {5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Daniel Uceda checked from the big blind and Will Failla bet 4,500,000, which was called.

The river came the {8-Diamonds} and both players checked.

Uceda tabled {q-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a flopped-pair which was good enough to scoop the pot and extend his chip lead.

Bangash Gets There on the River

Level 36 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Donna Leduke raised and Adeel Bangash moved all in for his final 8,500,000. His opponent called and cards went on their back.

Adeel Bangash: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Donna Leduke: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The flop was not good for Bangash as it came jack high {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. The {2-Clubs} turn didn't help but the {k-Diamonds} river left him and his rail jubilant as he doubled up to stay alive in the tournament.

Brewer Takes Out Two

Level 36 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Yavine Brewer moved all-in for 16 million from middle position and was called for less by Behzad Javadzadeh in the cutoff.

Behzad Javadzadeh: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Yavine Brewer: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Brewer spiked a full house on the flop of {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}. The runout of {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} did not help Javadzadeh and he was sent to the pay line.

On the next hand Brewer eliminated Youaresh Daoud which eluded the PokerNews live reporting team.

Chiang Scores a Double Elimination

Level 35 : 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante

Things got a little crazy for a moment. Under-the-gun opened the action for 900,000, before Jen Yue Chiang shoved for 20,000,000 from the hijack. The button then went all in for around 11,000,000, and the under the gun raiser called off his last 2,000,000.

Under-the-gun player: {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Button: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Jen Yue Chiang: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

With two aces showing and off-suited card, both players were in trouble and at risk to Chiang's kings.

The board ran out {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{q-Spades}, offering no help to anyone and eliminating both of the shorter stacks.

Chiang takes a seat amongst the chip leaders now, raking in a huge pot.

Cantu Turns The Nuts

Brandon Cantu

Srini Vasan opened the action from early position to 2,500,000, which was only called by Brandon Cantu in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}. Cantu checked over to Vasan who bet 4,000,000. Cantu made the call.

On the {4-Hearts} turn both players checked. The river came the {k-Spades} with Cantu checking once again. Vasan quickly checked back. Cantu turned over {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for the turned nut-straight, but was disappointed in himself for not betting.

"Damnit, I'm the worst", said Cantu jokingly while he dragged in the pot.
