Dirksen's Read is Off

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Dustin Dirksen raised from the button and Hye Park re-raised in the small blind. Dirksen called and took three.

"Fair fight," he said as Park took one. Park bet after the draw and Dirksen called.

Both players took one and Park check-called a bet. Dirksen stood pat on the last draw while Park took one more.

Park check-called another bet. "You have a ten, right," Dirksen asked as he showed a nine-eight-seven.

Park, though, showed {9-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} to take the pot.

"I was going for thin value," Dirksen added after the pot.
