Meredith on Fire in Level 1

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante

In a pot with 6,000 in the middle on a {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts} board, Greg Meredith, in the big blind, checked to the player in the cutoff who put in a very small bet of 400.

Meredith decided that wasn't even close to enough and fired for 7,000. The cutoff snap-called and said that he wanted the big bet.

However, to the cutoff's dismay, Meredith showed his {9-Spades}{6-Clubs} big blind special to take down the massive pot.

Meredith relayed to PokerNews that we should have been at his table the hand before, as he won a small pot with a straight flush.
