Hallaert Wins Battle of the Blinds
Action folded around to Paul Ahn in the small blind who limped. Kenny Hallaert checked his option out of the big blind to send the players heads-up to the flop.
Ahn led out for 4,000 on the flop only to see Hallaert raise to 15,000. After some consideration, Ahn called.
Ahn checked on the turn and Hallaert, seemingly bent on getting as many chips into the middle as possible, bet 38,000. Ahn went into the tank and came out with a raise to 70,000. He was informed by the dealer that the minimum raise would be to 76,000 and Ahn tossed in the extra 6,000. Hallaert pushed all in to send Ahn back into the tank. "How much more?" he asked as he counted up his own stack. "129,000," responded Hallaert. Another minute or so went by before Ahn laid his hand down to end a hand that took over six minutes to complete.
