Queen-High No Good for Bourgeois

Level 12 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Blaise Bourgeois raised to 6,000 from late position and received calls from both Hilario Yuriar in the small blind and the player in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and action checked back to Bourgeois, who bet 6,500. Only Yuriar called to see the {4-Clubs} on the turn.

"I'm going to check your heart draw. I hope you miss it," Bourgeois said as they both checked.

The river came the {10-Clubs} and both players checked again.

"I, unfortunately, don't have an ace," Bourgeois said, turning over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Yuriar didn't have a heart draw but showed {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} to win the pot.
