Bailey Wins Flip to Survive
Level 8
: 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action folded to Lukas "Robin Poker" Robinson on the button, who opened to 2,000. The player in the small blind responded by three-betting jamming for 12,500. Jeffrey Bailey called off for his tournament life with the shorter stack out of the big blind and Robinson got out of the way.
Jeffrey Bailey:
Small Blind Player:
It was a race, one that Bailey would need to win to survive. The flop gave Bailey a gutshot and the turn paired the board, giving Bailey an opportunity to counterfeit his opponent. That is exactly what happened on the river. Though Bailey is still short, he will at least have enjoyed finding a double shortly before the second break of the day.
