Hecklen Next to Go

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Henrik Hecklen moved all in from the button for his short stack, which had previously been cut down by a couple of losing hands. He was called by the big blind, Nick Petrangelo.

Hecklen had the {j-Spades}{9-Spades} while Petrangelo had the {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

The board ran out with no drama as it came {3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and Hecklen was eliminated.

Petrangelo Flips Davies to the Rail

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Seth Davies opened to 120,000 in early position and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 350,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Davies who shipped all in for 850,000. Petrangelo looked back at his cards and then made the call.

Seth Davies: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Nick Petrangelo: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

They were off to the races and Petrangelo took the lead on the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop. The {5-Hearts} on the turn left Davies drawing to just two outs and the {j-Clubs} on the river was not one of them.

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Gregory Jensen
Gregory Jensen

There was a large pot of 950,00 in play as the board read {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. From early position, Gregory Jensen bet 600,000 which sent Taylor von Kriegenbergh, who was under the gun, into the tank for the big decision.

After more than two minutes ticked away, he folded to cede the pot to his immediate left.

Badziakouski and Petrangelo Play a Long One; Robl Eliminated

Level 15 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 100,000 in the hijack at the previous level and Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 380,000 from the big blind. Badziakouski called and the flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}.

Petrangelo led out with a bet of 240,000 and Badziakouski just called. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and Petrangelo check-called a bet of 300,000 from Badziakouski. The river was the {j-Diamonds} and Petrangelo checked again.

Badziakouski pushed out a bet of 480,000, leaving himself with just 25,000 behind. Petrangelo burned through three of his time banks on the river alone before finally calling. Badziakouski tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a set of nines and Petrangelo mucked.

On the next hand, Petrangelo pushed all in from the small blind with {k-Spades}{q-Spades} and Andrew Robl called from the big blind with {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The board ran out {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} for Petrangelo to make a flush and eliminate Robl.

Oya Carves Value From Hecklen

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Masashi Oya
Masashi Oya

Action was on the river with the board reading three to a royal flush, {5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Masashi Oya was in the big blind and bet 335,000 into a pot of about 380,000. Henrik Hecklen was under the gun and had the decision in his hands.

Hecklen took a time extension and thought it out before calling after a minute.

Oya tabled the {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two-pair as Hecklen mucked to send Oya some more chips as he continues his form from yesterday.

Shakerchi Wins a Flip, Felts Schutten

Level 14 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Talal Shakerchi opened to 100,000 in the cutoff and Brek Schutten moved all in for 725,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Shakerchi slammed in the chips to call.

Brek Schutten: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Talal Shakerchi: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Schutten remained in the lead with his pair of nines. However, the {k-Diamonds} on the turn paired Shakerchi and the {4-Hearts} on the river sent Schutten out the door.
