Monnette's Run Comes to an End

Level 21

Big O

John Monnette had raised enough from the big blind pre-flop to leave himself only 6,000 behind and was called by both Faith Klimczak and Jorge Walker.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Monnette stuck in his last chips. Walker raised to 30,000 and Klimczak called to see the {7-Spades} on the turn.

Both players checked through to the {2-Diamonds} when Klimczak put out a bet, eliciting a quick fold from Walker.

"Queens-full and a low," Klimczak said, turning over {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Monnette showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades} before making his exit.
