An early position player had opened to 15,000 and Brett Richey called on the button. Faith Klimczak announced pot, a bet of 65,000, working off a short stack of about 105,000. Richey decided to call on the button and see a flop.

The turn was a bad one for Richey who lost many of his two pair outs with the flush draw now on board. The gave Klimczak the unneeded straight for the double and kept her tournament alive.
"Nice hand. Good raise, too," said a tablemate.
"I don't know how else to play that there," said Klimczak as she scooped the pot.
