Brandes Doubles Up to Massive Chip Lead

Level 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Fabian Brandes called 150,000 more from the small blind with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Leonid Yanovski raised to 900,000 with {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Brandes made the call.

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Yanovski checked and Brandes bet 1,200,000. Yanovski quickly announced pot and Brandes said all in. Yanovski made the call.

Brandes was in the lead with his set of eights but would need to dodge the queens and flush draw of Yanovski. The turn came the {k-Clubs} and the river {6-Diamonds} securing the double up and massive lead for Brandes.
