Brandes Extends His Lead

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Thomas Morrison opened for 250,000 from under the gun with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Brandes made the call next to act with {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}, Ferenc Deak called from the small blind with {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} as well as Leonid Yanovski in the big blind with {q-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and all players checked. On the {2-Spades} turn Deak checked and Yanovski bet 300,000 which was only called by Brandes.

The river {10-Clubs} completed the board and Yanovski checked. Brandes bet out 1,400,000 with the worse six as a bluff and Yanovski went well in the tank before eventually letting his hand go and increased the lead of Brandes.
