Ko Makes a Big Come Back

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

In a three-way pot, the flop was {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} when Joao Vieira checked from the big blind and so did the cutoff. Young Ko bet 1,000 on the button both Joao and the cutoff called.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and Vieira checked to the cutoff who sent 4,000 in the middle. Ko and Vieira called.

The river showed a {k-Hearts} and both Vieira and the cutoff opted to check. Ko bet 12,000 and after some consideration, only Vieira called. Ko tabled {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for a set and Vieira quickly mucked his hand.

Ko, who had only 3,000 chips left 30 minutes ago has now around 80,000.
