Rosen Makes Correct Call

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Oren Rosen opened from under the gun for 160,000. Raul Garza, in middle position, was the lone caller.

On the {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, Rosen check-called Garza's bet of 175,000.

The {k-Hearts} was checked through before the {j-Clubs} arrived on the river. Garza fired for 625,000. Rosen tanked for a bit, but eventually made the call. Garza turned over {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} before Rosen breathed a sigh of relief as he turned over {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for top pair, good enough to scoop the pot.

Big Slick Trumps Jiggities

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Bastien Joly moved all in preflop and was called by Cy Williams, which put Williams at risk.

Cy Williams: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Bastein Joly: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

In this classic flip, the board ran out {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades} which meant Bastien won the pot with his superior pair and Williams was eliminated.
