Arcia Flops a Full House to Knock Out Two

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up with three players all-in, and a fourth who called with all three covered. Pedro Arcia had the second biggest stack as the four players turned over their hands for the four-way showdown.

Opponent 1: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Opponent 2: {q-Diamonds}{a-}
Pedro Arcia: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Opponent 3: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

The big stack was out in front, but that changed in a big way as the {k-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop gave Arcia a full house. The board finished {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. Arcia's full house was still good, and he scooped the pot, knocking out two opponents and more than doubling his stack all in one hand.

From A Deep Run To Another One

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante
Sylvain Cisterna
Sylvain Cisterna

Yesterday, Sylvain Cisterna was fighting to reach the final table of Event #35, but was eventually eliminated in 14th place. Today, he's back at work and has already built a big stack.

During the previous level, he won {j-}{8-} against {a-}{k-} on a {a-}{j-}{8-}{3-}{7-} flop to eliminate a player. And recently, he took more chips by eliminating another one.

A player limped in middle position, another one raised it from the cutoff before Cisterna raised again from the button. The first player folded, but the other player announced all-in for almost 50,000. Cisterna quickly called.

Opponent: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Sylvain Cisterna: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

The board came {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Sylvain Cisterna was able to eliminate another player today.

Avery Puts the Squeeze on Opponents

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

The player in late position raised to 2,200 and the small blind called. Corbin Avery was sitting in the big blind and he shipped it all in for 22,000. The late position player thought for a second, then folded, which sent the small blind into the tank.

"Man I think we're flipping, but I fold," the small blind said as he flashed {2-}{2-} before he tossed them into the muck.

Avery gave no response as he calmly slid his cards to the dealer and raked in his chips.

Jattin Knocks Out Opponent

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

After the hijack moved all in, Farid Jattin made the snap-call from the cutoff with his opponent covered.

Opponent: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Farid Jattin: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

With Jattin behind, the {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop offered no help, but he pulled ahead by pairing his jack on the {j-Clubs} turn. The {4-Hearts} river changed nothing, and Jattin scooped the pot while his opponent was sent to the rail.

Nack Triples Up

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

A raise from the under-the-gun player to 2,400 got three callers in Dan Nack in early position, the cutoff, and the big blind.

On the {7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop, the under-the-gun player continued for 6,000 before Nack moved all in for 10,700. The cutoff and under-the-gun player both called while the big blind got out of the way.

The {5-Hearts} turn and {4-Clubs} river were checked through, leading to a three-way showdown.

Dan Nack: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Cutoff: {x-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Under-the-gun: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Nack's king-high flush was good enough to beat the cutoff's flush and the under-the-gun player's pair of queens, giving him the pot and tripling his stack.
